We must thank God for finding homes for all of our puppies! Without God it would just no be possible for us find the great homes all of our puppies have and will receive!
Sweetwater Kennel has been in Raising Quality AKC puppies since 1999!
We began our business just as a hobby with 2 Miniature Schnauzers.
After finding homes for our first few litters of puppies, we enjoyed it so much that we decided to continue with raising puppies and seeing the smiles on the people's faces who have received our babies!!
After a few more litters of Miniatures Schnauzers we thought about raising another breed. That is when the Pekingese came to be part of Sweetwater Kennel's most loved breeds! The Pekingese is very brave and loving at the same time! We just love the breed so much that the Pekingese has become our main breed!
After another year we looked into raising a third breed. We researched another breed which we could enjoy as much as the Pekingese. This is when we decided on the Shih Tzu! The Shih Tzu is such a great little dog with loads of energy, just opposit of the Pekingese!
We enjoy all of our dogs equally and plan to stay with these 3 breeds as we have the last few years!
Sweetwater Kennel registers all of our puppies with the AKC (American Kennel Club) or the ACA (American Canine Association)
The USDA, the State of Missouri and the AKC also inspects Sweetwater Kennel at least once a year to make sure that we are doing our job correctly and that everyone, who purchases a puppy, is getting a healthy happy puppy!
